David Lyman discusses keys to inspiring leadership in Twin Cities Business– April 2016

In a recent issue of Twin Cities Business, LymanDoran principal David Lyman offered his insights into attracting and hiring top leadership talent in a competitive market.

Lyman was one of a panel of Twin Cities executive recruiters featured in “Leadership Talent: Finders & Keepers” addressing the impactful role of boutique recruiting firms in shaping local nonprofit and business leadership.

Lyman observed that he sees an increasing demand for leaders with talents beyond traditional business skills, including the ability to effectively communicate vision and inspire employee engagement in achieving that mission. Candidates, he says, are also looking beyond professional growth and seeking roles that offer meaningful values and personal fulfillment.

LymanDoran Moves Into the Top 10 Twin Cities Search Firms

March 2015 – Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal named LymanDoran the eighth largest executive search firm in the Twin Cities.

The ranking, based on revenue, was a significant boost over the firm’s 2014 ranking as the 19th largest firm, and its 2014/2015 20th place ranking.

LymanDoran, now in its fifth year, attributes this rapid rise to its strategic focus on expanding partnerships in the software and business services industries, as well as an increase in President and CEO level searches.
